Our Story
Dr. Danielle & Richard Lockwood
Dr. Danielle Lockwood is a licensed primary care physician in WA, OR, and ID, specializing in naturopathic, functional, and integrative medicine. She holds a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master’s in Acupuncture from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. Founder and lead physician at Terrain Wellness in Camas, WA, she’s known for her investigative, systems-based approach to chronic illness—often described as a health detective uncovering patterns beneath symptoms.
Richard Lockwood blends a background rooted in rugged self-reliance and high-level analytical thinking. Raised off-grid in the Cascades and the grandson of loggers and a Cold War rocket scientist, he brings a passion for resilience, deep thinking, and storytelling. Professionally, he co-manages Terrain Wellness and brings experience in copywriting, content strategy, coding, design, and business development.
Together, they created Fire Your Doctor—a book, podcast, and YouTube channel that empowers people to rethink conventional medicine and pursue meaningful healing. Their work focuses on hormone health, autoimmune disease, trauma recovery, and toxic exposures, while integrating faith, family, and purpose.
